Kokeshi doll - After the Rain Green (Ameagari)

His name in Japanese is Ameagari which means "After the Rain".
The peculiarity is the large umbrella, decorated with colorful flowers, that the doll holds open in front of itself.
The kimono is green brilliant which gives the kokeshi (entirely hand painted) a a modern yet refined note.
In Japan the umbrella is considered a good luck charm, the promise of the return of the sun after rain.
