Kokeshi doll - Spring Dream (Haru no Yume)

The Japanese name of this very elegant Kokeshi is Haru no Ume, which means Spring Dream:

it is one of the most refined, entirely made and hand painted in solid wood.

The kimono is white, a symbol of purity, and beautifully colored cherry blossoms are painted on it delicate.

Cherry blossoms, much loved in Japan, represent spring, the wind of change, a new beginning.
