Kokeshi doll - Memories Blue (Omoide)

Her name in Japanese is Omoide, which means Memories.
The peculiarity of this doll is the detachable head from the body that creates a secret hiding place, in which to keep the our 'Memories'.
The Kokeshi, entirely hand painted, depicts a young woman dressed in a beautiful blue kimono, decorated with delicate plum blossoms engraved in the wood.
